Submit a teaching case

We publish short, practical cases from working GI endoscopists. If you've encountered something worth a colleague's attention — an unusual finding, a technique that saved your case, a complication and how you handled it — we'd like to publish it.

What we publish

  • One image, one idea, three paragraphs. Most published cases are 250–500 words. The image carries the teaching; your text frames it.
  • Practical over comprehensive. A clear "here's what I saw, here's what I did, here's what to watch for" beats an exhaustive review.
  • Honest about uncertainty. If you ruled out two diagnoses before landing on the right one, say so — that's the teaching.

What to send

  • A single Word document or PDF with your case write-up and any images embedded inline.
  • 1–3 paragraphs of text (~250–500 words), 0–5 references, at least one image.
  • Include your name, credentials, and institution at the top of the document so we know how to credit you.

Submit your case

We typically respond within seven days. If accepted, we'll work with you on a brief edit pass before publishing.
