A Pro Tip for Clipping Mallory-Weiss Tears

What's your strategy for clipping a Mallory-Weiss tear? A common mistake is starting proximally.

For a more secure closure, place the first clip distally (furthest from the scope). Then, place subsequent clips proximally to create a stable V- or Y-shape, as shown in this diagram from our new guide.
